Discover Chalet Ganesha

This luxury retreat centre is known for its high-end amenities and for its stunning location in the village of Champéry in the Swiss Alps. The project began in 2004, inspired by Solange Demole, who imagined creating a warm and friendly centre for yoga and meditation courses in an old mountain pasture farmhouse dating from the 50’s.

The centre consists of four chalets: Ganesha, its smaller sister Amachi, Le Chalet François and Grand Ganesh. Grand Ganesh has a magnificent 121 m2 room, built according to the principles of the golden ratio by the engineer Thomas Buchi and his team of architects. The chalets are fitted out according to the principles of Feng Shui, and are supplied with spring water. They are equipped with Mom’s protection against 5G waves and their disruptions.

Depending on the number of participants, our retreat will take place either at Ganesha or Grand Ganesh.

About Champéry
Located 90 minutes from Geneva, Champéry lies at the heart of the Portes du Soleil, Europe’s largest ski area linked by Switzerland and France. This fabulous area, with the Dents-du-Midi mountains in the background, is sure to delight winter sports fans and mountain bikers in the summer months.

Meet the team

 Céline: Ayurveda and Yoga Nidra

Céline is extensively trained in Ayurveda & Yoga both from Indian and European schools. In Switzerland, she studied with the Vaidya Atreya Smith at the European Institute of Vedic Studies where she obtained a diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine. She teaches Hatha Yoga from an ayurvedic perspective, adapting the practice to the individuals’ needs and natural cycles (day, seasons, etc).

During the weekend, she will share Yoga Nidra, her favorite meditation & healing technique that she learned at the Bihar School of Yoga. You can also book health consultations & massages with her.

Joan: Breathing and Hatha Yoga

Joan is trained with A.G Mohan in Svastha Yoga, the yoga of Krishnamacharya. Today he shares yoga under the umbrella of Svastha Yoga. His approach is fused with his life experience and further studies and experiences in fields like Tantra, metaphysics, active dreaming and trauma.

Yoga with Joan is a creative expression of our energy through the breath, a commitment to the skill of moving well, where the form is not the goal but the consequence: slow, sensitive, simple, soft but powerful, and above all authentic.

We are very excited to share this retreat and we look forward to connecting with you there!
